Node.js Developer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js).
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for communication between server and client applications.
• Integrate with third-party services and APIs to fetch and send data.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality and application reliability.
• Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest Node.js versions, features, and best practices.
• Document code, APIs, and project workflows for future reference and maintenance.
• Work closely with QA testers to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance.

Educational Qualification and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+years of experience in Node.js development.
• Proficient in JavaScript, including asynchronous programming and promises.
• Experience with Express.js or other Node.js frameworks.
• Strong understanding of web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JSON).
• Knowledge of database management systems, such as MongoDB or MySQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
