💼 Role Overview

A RPA cum Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (especially Power Automate) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools such as UIPath.
The goal is to automate business workflows, integrate systems, and improve operational efficiency using both low-code and script-based automation.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

Develop automation workflows using Power Automate (Desktop and Cloud) for UI and process automation.
Design and deploy RPA bots leveraging UIPath or similar tools for repetitive business processes.
Integrate Power Platform components — Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI — for seamless workflow management.
Customize SharePoint lists, libraries, and workflows to support business automation needs.
Build connectors and APIs for integrating Power Automate with external systems.
Write automation scripts using PowerShell or other scripting languages for system administration or task automation.
Troubleshoot and optimize automation workflows for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into efficient automated solutions.
Maintain documentation for workflows, connections, and system configurations.

🧠 Core Technical Skills

Power Automate (Flow) – Strong experience in cloud and desktop flows, including UI automation.
RPA Tools (UIPath mandatory knowledge) – Designing bots, selectors, and process orchestration.
Power Apps – Building low-code applications integrated with Power Automate.
SharePoint Development – Custom lists, libraries, workflows, and site customization.
PowerShell Scripting – Automating administrative or system-level tasks.
API Integration – Experience using REST, SOAP, or custom connectors in Power Platform.
Microsoft 365 Ecosystem – Knowledge of Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Dynamics integrations.
Data Handling – Understanding of JSON, XML, and data transformations.

🏗️ Preferred Skills & Tools

Experience with AI Builder or Process Advisor in Power Platform.
Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps or Azure Functions for complex workflow integration.
Knowledge of Dataverse / CDS (Common Data Service) for data modeling.
Understanding of best practices in RPA governance and Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE).
Version control experience with GitHub or Azure DevOps.

Exposure to finance, HR, or operations processes that commonly benefit from automation.
Understanding of compliance and security for automation solutions (e.g., role-based access, data encryption).
