Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with 2+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, ensuring software quality, and collaborating closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks and reusable test components.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyse test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in requirement analysis and test planning activities.
• Create and maintain test cases, test data, and test documentation.
• Execute API testing and validate backend services.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Track, report, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Ensure adherence to QA processes and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required Skills

Automation Testing

• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
• Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks.

Programming Skills

• Knowledge of Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
• Basic SQL knowledge

API Testing

• Experience with Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.

Testing Concepts

• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Integration Testing.
• Knowledge of Test Case Design Techniques.
