Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Android Developer with 2 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Android development frameworks, APIs, and modern development practices to build high-quality mobile applications. Experience with React Native is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Collaborate with UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, and QA Teams.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Ensure application security, quality, and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and industry trends.
- Publish, monitor, and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.
Required Skills
- 2+ Years of Experience in Android Application Development
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle
- Good understanding of MVVM, MVC, and MVP Architectural Patterns
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON
- Knowledge of SQLite, Room Database, or Other Local Storage Solutions
- Familiarity with Git and Version Control Systems
- Strong understanding of Android UI/UX Principles and Material Design Guidelines
- Experience in Application Debugging, Testing, and Performance Optimization
Preferred Skills
- Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience with React Native
- Experience with Dependency Injection Frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger
- Familiarity with Firebase Services, including Authentication, Firestore, Push Notifications, and Analytics
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum Development Environments
- Exposure to CI/CD Pipelines and Automated Deployment Processes
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a Related Field
