Senior DevSecOps Automation Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevSecOps Automation Engineer – Senior to lead the design, development, and maintenance of secure and automated infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevSecOps practices, extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, and GitHub, and experience with containerization and security best practices. This role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Work Hours: 07:30 PM to 03:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
• Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ensure security best practices are integrated into all stages of the development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Conduct security assessments and implement measures to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Create technical specifications and documentation based on business requirements and conceptual designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, optimize performance, and ensure reliability and security.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high standards of software quality and security.
• Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on best practices and career development.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and clarify business requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and tools, and incorporate them into projects as appropriate.
• Support and maintain production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.

Qualifications:

• Professional experience in DevSecOps, with a focus on automation and security.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of security best practices and implementation.
• Proficient in source control tools, particularly GitHub, in a team environment.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure design, performance optimization, and production environment management.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, handle complex projects, and deliver results independently.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Experience with cloud-based development and deployment is highly desirable.
