About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with around 2 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automation frameworks and hands-on experience in creating and maintaining test scripts. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to identify test scenarios and ensure test coverage.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.
- Log, track, and manage defects using test management and bug tracking tools.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving testing practices and standards.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines (basic understanding required).
Requirements:
- Around 2 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
- Proficient in one or more automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, etc.
- Experience with writing and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to performance or API testing tools (e.g., Postman, JMeter).
- Experience in Agile development environments.
